What To Bring

As with any outdoor
adventure, your trip will always be much more enjoyable when you
are prepared; especially in Alaska! A little prior planning goes
a long way when it comes to staying warm and dry in The Great
Land.
When you arrive in Seward for your trip, make sure that you pack
a bag with all the necessities so that you can enjoy your trip
to the fullest. If you have any issues finding your gear, let
us know and we will do what we can to assist. Here's what you
should have:
• Warm, layered clothing
• Boots or rubber shoes
• Rain Gear
• Sunglasses
• Camera w/ plenty of film/batteries
• Binoculars
• Lunch and beverages
• Current Alaska fishing license

Glacier's Edge Sportfishing provides all fishing poles, gear, tackle and
bait. However, if you have a special rod/reel combo that you would like
to bring yourself, feel free. Current Alaska fishing licenses are available
for purchase at the boat. If you are fishing for king salmon, make sure
you have a king salmon tag! These are also available at the boat for purchase.
Weather is always changing in Alaska, so being prepared is key. Expect
weather to be substantially colder once you are out in the boat on the
open water. Taking these factors into consideration and being ready will
ensure you get the most out of your Alaskan adventure with Glacier's Edge
